Oriental
An oriental-inspired
style of corner curio cabinet that uses a combination of thin panel frames
and angled front doors to create a rounded and light look with plenty of
of display area. This model was built using solid poplar for the frames,
high-quality maple veneer for the top, centre and lower panels and walnut
for the upper, lower and middle transitional moulding. The free-standing
unit measures 76" H x 26" W x 26" D. The two-sectioned, 5 sided design
sports bevelled glass side panels and mirrored glass back panels that are
protected by thin plywood backing panels. The wooden door frames are
fitted with bevelled glass and the unit has a fixed centre shelf with up
to 4 adjustable glass shelves. Two halogen lights illuminate both upper
and lower sections.
The curio cabinet is finished with mahogany/cherry stain Danish oil and varathane.
